Last month I attended the Retro Let’s Go Vintage Market and while perusing the stalls came across a friend of mine who has started up a business called Cookie Loving. Together with a friend of hers these two ladies source all the dry ingredients for cookies and sell them in jars.
Each jar is unique with a vinyl print on the front and filled with either choc chip cookie mix, gluten free cookie mix, or even crunchie mix. I love this idea, not only because it looks so great, but because it is super easy to just toss in all the dry ingredients and all you have to add is a cup of softened butter, 1 egg and a teaspoon of vanilla essence. Easy as that! All the directions and ingredients are printed under the lid of each jar too 🙂
This cookie dough is DELICIOUS (I may have eaten quite a lot of it). Once all the ingredients are mixed together, line a baking tray with wax wrap and place teaspoon size scoops of dough on the tray. Make sure you leave enough space between each dough ball so the cookies can spread.
Bake at 180 degrees C for about 10 minutes. Remember, each person’s oven is different so check your cookies after about 8 minutes.
Cookie Loving are a new venture so check out their blog for updates on which market they will be at next 🙂
We have a fresh batch of Chocolate Chip Cookies in our cookie jar and my husband says they are the best cookies he has eaten. Well done Cookie Loving, you gals are on to something here!
