Happy New Year bloggers.
Yes I am about 2 weeks late but as some of you recall I was in England and Scotland over the Christmas New Year period and have only been back in South Africa for a week now.
Our trip was magical!!! 2 days before we left Paul proposed and at that moment life became all the more exciting 🙂 As you can imagine the two of us, completely in love, wandered the streets of Salisbury, Bradford-on-Avon, Bath, London and Edinburgh expectant for adventure and insight.
One of our missions was definitely to find great coffee shops and this we accomplished. To name a few, Prufrock Cafe is listed as my best London coffee shop! Wow, not only is the coffee amazing but the guys who work there are such gentleman. In Edinburgh whilst strolling down High Street looking down all the Closes we came across Forsyths Tearoom. As we walked in for all day breakfast and a warm cup of tea we were welcomed by a lovely old lady behind a counter laden in tea cosys and delicious treats. Such a treat. And the last one to mention was the little Bridge Coffee Shop in Bath. Very quaint but a must for any visitor craving tea and scones.
So this is just a taster for some and as I get all the pictures sorted out I shall upload some rather scrumptious looking treats and explain more about these fantastic finds in the UK.
For now I am living and working in Durban, KZN, and LOVING it! My fiance lives just down the road and as I type this I am looking out over the gorgeous Indian Ocean. This is the life and my new location to discover great coffee shops. Keep checking in for what I think are some winner finds!
Have a great week 🙂
