My first stunner day in Cape Town was spent with a dear friend of mine while we caught up on all the happenings that had been going on in 2010. I had been told about a new place on the block called Palmyra Junction, in Claremont, and was very happy when Kirst said we would be going there for lunch.
Unbeknown to me Palmyra Junction hosts one of my favourite lunchtime spots, Knead. Now you must know that i am a HUGE bread fan and bread is what Knead does best.
So Kirst and I sat and chatted over a delicious chicken bagel and some very tasty coffee. Knead is not only a sit down cafe but you can buy all sorts of breads and coffees over the counter.
I would recommend a relaxed lunchtime break at Knead and you will be sure to fill up on both health and a caffeine boost 🙂
Great prices, great atmosphere, and Knead was a winner to start off my trip.
